You my friends can stay at this Entertainment Paradise with a gorgeous MountainViews! My client came to me wanting the furnish his newest Airbnb. A Modern design for this new build has become a great property to visit!

Have you have stayed in an Airbnb? The whole process of designing this space, what was important to provide to the Guest. What would make it feel like home!? These question constantly ran through my brain! How can I mean it feel like home but also don’t go over budget! While the house has 4 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths the main living space is not that huge. A modern Design can often make it feel cold, uninviting, and be uncomfortable. Let’s face it, when I see a very modern and contemporary home the furniture can push me away from wanting to book it. “The couch looks hard”, “it looks sterile!” “i know I will spill something on that!” Those are the first things I think. While I have stayed at many many many Airbnb’s/ VRBO i have only really like a few. MY biggest complaints are always the Beds! I don’t want to stay at a place the bed sucks! It is no fun have a sore back and no sleep on vacation. The second was not having many pillow and blankets. i am a three pillow sleeper, having one flat pillow will not work for me. The Third was seating. I want ample amount but not have it look cluttered, While also being comfortable!!! I can not have a couch or chairs that makes your butt go numb because it is so hard…. When I was looking for both functional, comfortable and durable furniture It can be a challenge with the deliverables being delayed… I did hit the jack pot on many of the pieces we picked!

First on the list was Beds!
We had all memory foam 10+ Inch Thick mattresses. The first guest seem to love them! While the spaces are al great size! we have 2 queen rooms, 1 full & Twin room & The King. each bed has a plethora of pillows ( meeting #2’s requirement) plus decor

Comfort and Design Meet

Like I mention making it aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable can de difficult. We make a clean white linen that is crisp and quality. Down Comforters for warmth and volume with Pillows for plushness, color and texture. Some think having carpet in a bed means no need for a rug. I disagree, It defines the space with the bed. I love stacking rugs on carpet for added volume & depth. Each room has an Accent/ Area Rug. while all the rooms have the same root design of Modern design, I made each room individually different but still tied in with one another. Bringing similar colors, textures, geometric shapes can help them married at the end.

Living room is where the the heart of the home is. While on vacation it is important to have a great living space! The living room, dining, kitchen and outdoor space is sooo imporant! Places to hang out, eat, and play games are important for a larger airbnb to function well. We have great places to sit hang out, and ample entertainment.
