Bathroom 1|
We are sharing our bathroom one Design board today! It is exciting to share our design bard and our hard finds for this space. While designing new custom homes you want to have individual designs for each space but also have common features you can inset in the space. This bathroom is more farm house feel then modern although we tied in modern lighting & plumbing fixtures. This space we choose light and bright!
This bathroom has no window meaning NO natural light except from the Bedroom if the door is open. recessed lighting, sconces, white vanity, and marble hexagon floors matched with a white variation of subway tile will make it feel light and cozy. The theme through out is curated with mixed metals. It can be daunting to make sure you don’t mix to much but not make everything matchy/ matchy and feel livable and inviting. On the flip side there bathroom 2 is not the same design but has similar feelings.
Bathroom 2 |
This Bathroom has a window! meaning I can use darker tones to bring a cozier feeling. WIth natural light, Recessed lights and one center light I can bring the the warmth and cool colors. this is a balance of Farm house and modern. Bathroom 2 is the one bedroom that has a tub other than the master. Using a marble like tile on the shower walls with a black vanity and nickel faucet.
Bathroom 3|
Bathroom 3 was a lot of fun to design. Since Bathroom three is the furthest from the master I only assume this is either guests or teenagers. I went with a more moody modern farm feeling. I dislike the word moody but the alternative doesn’t seem to be any better. Dark textured brick like tile in a herring bone pattern, gray marble like tile for the shower walls. Mixing gold & nickel fixtures we have a moody but bright modern farm bathroom.
Powder Bath |
Powder Bath is going to be the most modern bathroom in the house. Don’t let it fool you it may be small but will pack a huge punch!
A floating waterfall quarts counter vanity with Matte Back 4x4 floor to ceiling back splash with the contrast of gold sconces it will be a beautiful sight.
